I believed that Bridge's portrayal of "The Dude" in "The Big Lebowski" was the essential role of his career, but after seeing this performance, I've changed my tune.

It's true that we will not be witnessing cinematic history with the incredible plot or awe-inspiring film-making. Enter Jean, a young journalist and single mother, played by the preternaturally captivating Maggie Gyllenhaal. Jean makes Bad realize just where his life had been headed. What sets the Oscar-winning film apart from other music movies is its subtle but just-right moments.
