Your comments are mostly false, so for a newcommer please dont listin to this bs. Im not saying its perfect here everywere has its problems. But all in all this is a good place to live. Heres the truth Roads- All states have bad roads, ive seen some that have a lot worse roads than us. Taxes- every state has them, and they are a lot higher in other places like SC were your taxed on food, cloths, and a lot mores taken out of your pay.
Rude people- weird i think PA has the most friendly down to earth people in the world, but then again we might be rude to someone like yourself who insults us. Philidelphia- Yes it may not be the nicest place on earth, and it has some very rough areas Go down south if you want to see low wages Racism- Again something that is everywere Lack of sophistication outside city- are you joking?

More women have jobs in Meadville than you'd find in other towns of comparable size.
One woman at Wal-Mart has to pay for her household because no one will hire her husband. He was laid off from a tool and die shop due to labor shortages and put in over 30 applications They went from having a car they just paid off, to getting ready to sell it and filing for Welfare assistance.
She started crying at the register. What was I supposed to do? Tell her to shut up? Glad I didn't though Speaking of Welfare Unfortunately, our records were handled incorrectly and we tried to remove you. That's absolutely ridiculous, and shouldn't happen to anyone. Especially the elderly and handicapped. Ohio has far more job options, housing in relatively safe locales well, they do have safe areas, but you have to live out in the middle of nowhere.
Generally they were always warm to me, and actually did say thank you when I'd hold a door, etc. West Virginia as I stated before, plenty of retail jobs there. Just don't get 'em mad Because even though we know there's not a lot in the way of personal advancement That's one of the main problems with Meadville and the surrounding areas People come in, suck up the resources, get on their feet, and leave.
I'm not saying PA's the butt of the world we could live in far worse locations. Far, far worse. It's really sad when you see your old classmates living the above middle income life, and they're pretty content about it too.
You ask them and they say "Oh man, I left here like ten years ago. I only come back for family visits Look at this place, it's literally dying! If you find happiness and peace here If you see the PA that I see, pack up and leave as quick as you can. My ex-friends use their children as a Welfare check! They got in and out of drugs. She bought him a Katana Sword, and he supposedly had a 'Nam flashback and went crazy.

Not to mention, about two weeks after we moved Hi, Been reading posts about PA, Lancaster, etc and have gotten an idea about what the area is like. However, I will be moving there in , with my boyfriend who is from Lancaster. He has asked me to pick a place to live within the triangle.
If you guys and gals would be so kind as to give me the 3 best areas to live within the triangle I really would appreciate it We will be taking a trip to PA Lancaster at the end of the week and I will be getting a tour of my future home so I would like to have some idea of where to visit.
He is leaving it up to me as to where to live. Small town feel yet an area where the jobs would be within a 30 min drive. Its probably best to research, and visit the town you think you might locate too. When we use to come here and visit from New Jersey.
