Young, Paul R. Bown, Jacqueline A. Adults as well as kids love it. They LOVE it. When they get home from school, I usually hear, "Mooooom, may I play on my Kindle??

Since Christmas, it has turned into "Moooooom, may I play on my Perplexus? Tips and tricks were shared. Our original goal was to help teach patience. This item does that and more. The creativity from kids and adults alike has been astonishing. More surprising is the teamwork effort as each helps the other go farther as they understand interactions of spacial dimensions and gravity.

It is challenging for him and that's what I wanted. Father and son compete to see who can get the farthest. It has not been conquered by either one yet. Super fun and challenging! I would recommend it to anyone! Keeps my boys attention much longer than I thought it would. Now instead of shooting bad guys while using thumbs only, he now uses his entire body to move a tiny marble around a maze with frustrating results.

Our family all comes home for dinner every Sunday night and our kitchen counter now has a variety of Perplexus maze toys on it and they are never idle. Many challenges, frustrations and much laughter are equated with these cool toys. Very challenging. Watching the video helps learn some tricks to playing. He had a smaller one and requested this for Christmas. Since he doesn't live with me I don't know how much he is playing with it. He played with it about half an hour while here on Christmas day.

There were other things he checked out also. Service for getting this order was excellent. It actually got here a day before the scheduled arrival date in the tracking system. So much FUN! He likes it! My grandson was excited to get it, but quickly saw that it was broken. He is returning it. Has not been able to get thru it all. The 12 year old loves it. Keeps trying. The kids fought over it! Hoping that it competes with video games.

I will be glad to complete this survey after Christmas. Will take a while to get through the mazes. But he likes a challenge. I'm wrapping it tonight so no more playing til XMAS. I was disappointed that they ran out of the free gift that was supposed to come it!!!!

I've told everyone about your store!! He will enjoy it. She's an 11 year old. Wanted to get her something that she would enjoy. Something a little different. I think that this will do the trick. She will be able to work on her hand-eye coordination and have fun at the same time. I hade the item shipped to my sister's and her husband thought that it was a great gift. He started playing with it right away. I really hope that she enjoys it!

My granddaughter wanted this, my guess she will be very excited about it. It makes you want to do better so it's a little addictive. He mastered one of the easier models last summer. He was a bit overwhelmed at first but couldn't put it down. I am anxious to hear how he does with it but know that he loves the challenge! Good for hand eye coordination. I knew the Perplexus was up his ally as I'd seen one in a waiting room. I called during his birthday party and in the middle of all the chaos of friends and cake, he was already playing with the maze.

I was quite pleased. He said, "This is going to take me awhile to solve! He brought it to multiple family gatherings during the holidays and everyone had fun. Challenging and stimulating for all ages. His 15 year-old sister was just as excited as he was when he opened it! Even their Dad had to have his turn. I think this turned out to be a "family" gift!! My grandson was immediately working on getting as far as he could before having to start over.

He was excited when he got to 15!! So glad I bought this for him and sister and Dad! Thompson Rating: 5 out of 5 Great gift for my 15 year old grandson.

He loves it. We have competitions to see who can get the farthest along the course. As you progress, it becomes increasingly difficult especially on the portions of the course interior to the ball where it becomes more difficult to see.

Once in a blue moon the ball gets a bit stuck which is a pain, but usually after a minute of rattling it around the ball will become free. Great game and very fun to pass back and forth as a competition. It teaches patience and that the old adage" practice make perfect" is definitely true. Perplexus Epic is not a toy that you master quickly and then its done; there is a process in learning how to manuever that little steel ball through that sculptured maze, and when you are successful, you just want to do it all over again.

Definitely recommend. It is challenging but I love it! Another successful purchase. Perplexus Epic is fantastic! He is 11 years old and is registered Mensa.

I wanted a gift that would challenge his brain and Perplexus is it! He told his mother the secret is in keeping a cool head. She is also having the best time saying they just love Perplexus!

I'd rate this gift as perfect! The only reason it didn't get the "won't put it down" designation is that he has to take a turn with 2 older brothers and his dad.

They all are enjoying the challenge. If it entertains him for a few hours of his life, then I've completed my goal. He enjoys playing with it whenever there is a little down time. Great product! It is very complex, and will take some time to become skillful at it. It has captured the attention of my 11 year old grandson, and that is not easy to do. Thumbs up! Hard to take it away from adults for the child to play with. Even stayed away from the video games that the other kids were playing.

He had a long trip just after Christmas, and my brother said that he played with it for hours in the car. Perfectly challenging. She tells me that she really likes it and has it with her all the time so she can play with it while she is "thinking about things. After talking to him on the phone I found that he was very excited to receive this gift and was playing with it while we talked!

After finishing my conversation with my grandson my son spoke with me and confirmed that my grandson was truly excited about this gift. He took it with him everywhere on Christmas Day as the family visited friends and other family members throughout the day and the evening. I later learned that my grand Great gift per feedback received!

So much so, that one of them went online to buy one for herself! I bought thirteen total of this gift. Many have come back to say both they and their kids love it, spending hours together playing with it. The best though, was my step-son's comment when his daughter opened her gift. Seems very interested.

Everyone in the family enjoyed trying to complete the puzzle, from Grandparents to younger siblings. The toy is well made and of high quality. Great for kids and adults alike.

It is going to take quite a bit of practice for my son to get to the end and he has become a little frustrated that he cant do it but I am sure he will keep trying because it is addictive! They are constantly playing it with as they take turns. They lov e it and it challenges them. I myself have played and to tell the truth I hate to put it down.

Amazing for ALL!! My 11 year old nephew has barely put it down all day. Two were sent to my husbands business, mostly men ages early 20's to mid 30's mostly and I have been sent so many pictures and videos of them playing and racing, I wonder if any work is being done anymore!! To me, it's the anti video game.

A win for sure! He loved it! He and his friends love to play it! No video games! I'm sending a couple of them out for gifts to my other kids and their families. Like the "unplugged" aspect They specifically asked for the epic, as they have the original and loved that as well. They are mathematically inclined and love solving things.

This give them something to solve without a pencil. I read the reviews prior to ordering this. It is nicely wrapped under the tree as a Christmas present but I will be sure to edit my review once Christmas is here! Fun for kids AND adults!!

My son and nephew love it so much and my husband and I ask for a turn whenever they take a break. It's so fun to have to move the ball around and try to figure out the different ways that it goes.

This one is definitely a lot more challenging than the original perplexes, but we have all mastered that one. So this is a great new challenge! His grandmother bought him something very similar but a different brand and he solved it rather quickly. Perplexus Epic is more challenging but not frustrating. He doesn't play with it constantly but when he does bring it out he works on it for a long period of time. I'm definitely glad that I went with the epic over the regular one considering how quickly he solved the other puzzle ball.

He looked to love this one, but the ball seemed too big for the hole between We're going to exchange it for another, and assume the fun will continue. Its great as it has a 'play in' entry point around 34 -- so we still moved on from the sticking point. However, I should have bought one for my husband as well! My husband played with it for hours on Christmas morning and wouldn't put it down.

It is a great toy that really makes you think but without feeling like you're in school. The only downside is we've gotten the ball stuck between the maze and the ball a few times. Wish there was just a little bit more space so that wouldn't happen.

My other daughter loved it so much she bought her one. Then my husband grabbed it and now they time each other on who can do it faster. Great Toy! Abraham Rating: 4 out of 5 I purchased this for a hard-to-buy-foryear-old. He loves it! Definitely a challenge and he loves that! They noticed the perplexus on the shelf in the box and they were so excited! They wanted it immediately out of the box so they could begin playing with it. I need 2 or 3 of them because they all want it!

I do believe; however, that it will be a fun and challenging toy that is non-technology -- will make the kids think a little! Rating: 5 out of 5 I purchased this for a 9 year old boy, and he is fascinated with it. It is challenging for him and keeps him engaged, but not so difficult that he gets frustrated.

He likes science so he is interested in its design and trying to figure out how to play with it. It is attractive. I do think it is too hard for an eight year old. It would be more enjoyable if it was a little easier.

It didn't even get out of the box before everyone was playing with it! He opened it at his birthday dinner and it was being played with and passed around before he was even done opening his other presents!

A definite hit. Everyone who sees it picks it up and tries it! It is fun and challenging toy that encourages problem solving and persistence! He's obsessed with it and has a great time trying to conquer all 4 courses.

He's not quite completed them all Good for hand eye dexterity and keeping his attention! Birthday gift for year-old boy. He must react quickly to keep the ball moving on the track. Toy will be around for a long timeis also being used by younger brother and six even-younger cousins ages 11 to 5.

Regardless of the complexity of this toy item, his year-old sister, and parents were constantly taking turns to try and master. After a full weekend, they are still competing with one another over who goes next. This item was a real hit. They are even talking of buying a second one to take on vacation with them with another family. He had the original Perplexus, but finds this one much more challenging, which is what he likes.

Great buy! It's Epic! The goal is to move the tiny silver ball through the maze by following the points in order. Sounds simple? Not really!! This is our second Perplexus.

My oldest son 8 received the Classic version for Christmas and it quickly became a family favorite. My husband always had it and was getting close to "beating" it. So it was a natural pick for my boys to get the Epic for their Dad for Father's Day! They love it and find it challenging. They have mini competitions with each other which I think is great.

I leave it on my bar in my kitchen so they can grab it daily in between their daily task and challenge themselves. Ok, I admit maybe year olds, too.

Can't Stop trying to beat my last attempt I mean I can honestly say he did not put this down. Out of all his gifts he kept going back to pick this up Def one of my best purchases. I will be buying more from Fat Brain Toys He loves plying it when he feels stressed He will play it for at least one hour. This was the only thing he wanted for is birthday. When he opened his present and pulled the ball out of the box. He scream. Yes, he does love it. Though mom and dad dislike the tinkling of the ball rolling around.

It's only been a week but he and his two brothers play with it every day. My nephew apparently had other Perplexus puzzles and was so excited for this one, he didn't want to open anything else, he just wanted to get to work on the puzzle. It is very fun to attempt to get farther each time you pick it up. M Rating: 4 out of 5 I purchased this for my grown son. He saw this in a local store and began playing with the display model.

He couldn't put it down! Christmas Day he was very surprised and happy as can be with this present. At any given point during the day, someone grown up or older child was playing with it! Since then my son has told me that all of his friends that come to visit enjoy it too. It is a captivating and fun! Fun but hard! She said it was a lot harder than the other one she had played with, which is the regular one. The ball kept getting stuck on this one also.

Challenging and Fun! He has been having a lot of fun trying to get the ball through the maze. Quite a challenge to say the least! Reminds my husband and I of the wooden labyrinth games they had around when we were kids Nice to have an entertaining game in the house that you don't have to charge or hook up to wi fi!

Back to basics kind of fun that we really love! He loves the Perpleux-Epic that he got for Christmas. When he puts it down, someone else picks it up. Would like to buy some of the other versions. It would be cooler if it was the size of a softball to better fit in his locker. Good times. Promotes a tremendous amount of curiosity and then tweeks your competitive nature while honing your attributes like patience, ingenuity, cognitive thinking, balance and spacial acuity.
